PLG Consulting LLC (PLG Consulting) is the controller for personal data collected through this website. Where the matter relates to legal services, the Office of PLG Legal Services in Kyiv, Ukraine acts as data controller for that engagement. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over your data.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to respond to enquiries and run the business. That is: the name, email address, and message content you send us when you reach out via contact@prokopievlaw.com. We do not run analytics, advertising, or social tracking on this site.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, to provide the legal services you instruct us to provide, and to comply with our professional obligations. The lawful bases under UK GDPR are contract, legitimate interests, and where applicable, legal obligation.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as the matter remains live and for a reasonable period afterwards in case the matter reopens. Records relating to engaged matters are retained in line with our professional retention policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We use Google Workspace to host email and Vercel to host this website. Both are bound by their own data processing terms. Where a matter requires us to instruct local counsel in another jurisdiction, we will tell you in advance.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, and to restrict or object to certain processing. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
